Meet Zena Tambini

Zena Tambini is a registered mental health nurse and accredited cognitive and behavioral psychotherapist. Her approach to health and well-being is kind and compassionate, rooted in a holistic, collaborative effort. Zena prioritizes empathy and care, helping her clients explore emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to identify and break the cycles that keep people stuck.

Background and Education

Zena completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology at the University of Portsmouth. She then earned her PGDip in mental health nursing before working in various acute mental health services within the NHS in London.

After Zena completed her postgraduate diploma in cognitive behavioral therapy at Kings College London, she worked in various IAPT services with the NHS in London. Throughout this time, Zena honed her skills as a CBT therapist, working with clients with a range of difficulties, including OCD, depression, health anxiety, phobias, PTSD, and CPTSD.

Zena pursued further training at Kings College London, focusing her studies on long-term health conditions. During this time, she worked on the long-term health conditions team at Croydon Talking Therapies, specializing in helping those with distress associated with diabetes, cancer, COPD, IBS, and Crohn’s disease.

Zena completed her training with the EMDR Academy and is now working towards EMDR accreditation. She uses both CBT and EMDR to support clients through their healing journey.
