MEET ALEXANDRA BLATCH
Alexandra Blatch has spent the last 25 years as a senior manager in various acute mental health settings. She’s worked with multiple client populations, including individuals struggling with addictions and eating disorders, specialist OCD populations, and child and adolescent mental health services.
Alexandra has had the privilege of managing many wonderful teams with the overarching theme of providing quality care to individuals and families. Now, she’s applying her experience and skills to her role as the Clinical Director of Plus by APN London.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Alexandra started her career as a psychiatric nurse over 30 years ago, working in a busy acute ward in the private sector. She developed a passion for running groups and working 1:1 with patients after working as a nurse in a day hospital and later pursued training as a counselor and bereavement therapist. She has worked at three different acute sites, serving as a therapy services manager, hospital director, and clinic director.
In her spare time, Alexandra loves to cook, spend time with friends and family, and be outdoors in nature whenever possible.
