MEET ALEXANDRA FRASCINO

With more than a decade of experience in mental health work with individuals and families, Alexandra Frascino is proud to serve as the Clinical Director for APN Dallas Fort Worth, overseeing the clinical programming for detox, partial hospitalizing programming, intensive outpatient programming, and outpatient therapy.

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND

Alex completed a Master of Science in Counseling from SMU in 2013, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2010 from the University of Texas, Austin. Since then, she has worked in both private practice and outpatient settings, rising to a clinical director role in 2022. Alex has extensive training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) for anxiety-related disorders, mood disorders, and substance use; dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT); couple therapy; and strategic family therapy. She also earned a certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a form of trauma-focused therapy, from IS-ART in 2021. She is also a member of the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (TAMFT).

Alex focuses her therapy work on an integrative, holistic model; she looks at the whole client and pulls from a variety of methodologies and approaches to create a personalized path forward. In her free time, Alex loves to go to new places, spend time with friends/family, take on outdoor adventures, practice yoga, and indulge in cooking and baking.
