Joana Pereira brings her well-rounded skill set and an abundance of passion to her role as the Marketing and Business Development Manager. From teaching and research to healthcare business development, data analysis has played a vital role in propelling Joana’s professional experience. She is proud to contribute to empowering and uplifting individuals on their transformative journeys.

For many clients and healthcare providers, Joana is the first point of contact at APN London; she manages the day-to-day business functions, coordinating quality care and ensuring the best possible experience for all APN clients. Joana is known for her warmth and compassion. She genuinely cares about fostering a welcoming environment for everyone.

Background and Education

Joana has a master’s degree in marine biology and a PhD in ecology, evolution, and biodiversity, with a focus on quantitative analysis. Before transitioning to working in healthcare, she was a biology and maths teacher at a junior school and a biology and zoology teacher at university.

Joana has her 200 YTT and enjoys yoga, traveling, and cooking.
