Meet Alexandra Nelson

Alex graduated from Pepperdine University with her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations in 2021. In 2019, she worked for Waves on Call at Pepperdine, creating relationships with alumni and fundraising for the university. In 2020, Alex interned for a Denver-based nonprofit, the Last Prisoner Project. She assisted the project manager with research, creating blog posts, and connecting with LPP’s celebrity brand ambassadors. Alex interned with APN Lodge during her final semester in the fall of 2021. After graduation, she joined APN Lodge full-time in the Contact Center.

Alex is thrilled to be a small step in someone’s journey to recovery and resonates deeply with APN’s holistic approach to healing. She is a passionate mental health advocate and lifestyle blogger and loves connecting with people. In addition to her role at APN, she is a freelance PR professional and contributing journalist for a music magazine. She enjoys going to the beach, traveling, yoga, and going to concerts in her free time.
