Meet Susan Coburn

Susan Coburn is a Client Support Associate at All Points North Lodge in Edwards, Colorado, where she brings a warm, attentive presence to clients throughout their recovery journey. Guided by compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each individual’s story, Susan helps create a supportive environment where clients feel seen, grounded, and encouraged as they move through the healing process.

Her approach is shaped in part by her background in narrative medicine, a field that explores how personal stories, identity, and meaning-making influence health and healing. Susan believes that listening deeply and honoring personal narratives can be powerful tools for growth, resilience, and lasting change.

Background and Education

Susan holds two Master of Science degrees: an MS in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University and an MS in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining APN, Susan spent more than two decades working across healthcare strategy, patient experience, and community health initiatives. In the Vail Valley, she has facilitated intimate, story-centered gatherings for individuals navigating health challenges, helping create spaces for reflection, connection, and shared understanding.

In addition to her work at APN, Susan is the founder of StoryHeal, a workshop series centered on literature, reflection, and guided writing that invites participants to explore identity, resilience, and the inner landscape of change.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys staying active and connected to the outdoors. She can often be found on the pickleball court, reading, or exploring local trails with her family.
