Background and Experience
In addition to his work in behavioral health, Montee brings a unique perspective shaped by his career as an elite athlete. A College Football Hall of Fame running back, he played collegiate football for the Wisconsin Badgers, where he earned consensus All-American honors twice before going on to play professionally in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos. His experience competing at the highest levels of sport gives him a deep understanding of the pressures, identity shifts, and mental health challenges that athletes can face.
This background allows Montee to connect authentically with athlete populations and supports the mission of All Points North’s athlete-specific programming, where performance culture, mental health, and recovery intersect.
Outside of his professional work, Montee enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, playing golf, and exploring new business and entrepreneurial ventures. He is also passionate about writing and engaging in conversations around behavioral health, leadership, and personal growth. Through his work at APN, Montee remains committed to helping individuals and communities access the support they need to build healthier, more resilient lives.
