Meet Dr. Paula Maness
Dr. Paula Maness is a licensed clinical psychologist with a passion for helping people rewrite their stories after trauma, loss, and emotional burnout. With licensure in both Florida and California, and authorization to provide care across PsyPact states, she brings over a decade of experience in clinical, forensic, and correctional settings.
At All Points North, Dr. Maness primarily works with high-achieving men and women who are “successful on paper – but something’s off.” She specializes in chronic PTSD, emotional suppression, and the lasting impact of narcissistic relationships. For clients who want it, she offers a Christian-friendly space for healing that welcomes faith without pressure or dogma.
Clients describe her as honest, intuitive, and surprisingly relatable. “I’ve earned every silver hair on my head,” she says. “Poor decisions may lead to pain, but pain leads to experience – and experience leads to wisdom. Life isn’t about blaming ourselves for what we didn’t know; it’s about learning and doing better now.”
Her goal is always to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen and supported – but also gently challenged. Therapy, in her hands, is more than just talking about your feelings. It’s about reclaiming your voice, your agency, and your life.
Background and Education
Dr. Paula Maness earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Dr. Maness has extensive experience serving multicultural, male-dominated, and Native American communities and brings a culturally grounded, deeply human perspective to therapy. Her approach integrates ACT, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, tailored to meet each client’s values and pace of growth.
When she’s not in session, you might find her boating Florida waters, immersed in a survival RPG, or writing her next creative project. Her guiding belief? You don’t have to fall apart to change your life – just be willing to begin.
