Meet Lauren Cisneros Campbell
Lauren Cisneros Campbell is an Intensive Outpatient/Outpatient Therapist at APN Denver, where she brings her passion for trauma-informed, client-centered care to every session. Since beginning her counseling career in 2013, Lauren has worked across diverse mental health settings, including psychiatric clinical therapy, individual, group, and family therapy, substance and addiction counseling, and school counseling. Her experience supporting adults, adolescents, children, and families gives her a comprehensive perspective on healing and growth across all stages of life.
Lauren’s therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, structure, and empowerment. She helps clients explore the impact of trauma, improve communication, and build the emotional and behavioral skills needed to move forward with clarity and confidence. Drawing from her background in trauma resolution, de-escalation, and crisis intervention, Lauren creates a grounded, supportive environment where clients can process experiences and foster lasting resilience.
Background and Education
Lauren holds a Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy and Counseling with a School Counseling Endorsement from the University of Colorado Denver, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado. Her diverse educational background enhances her ability to communicate effectively, build strong therapeutic relationships, and develop personalized treatment strategies.
Before joining APN, Lauren served as a Primary Therapist at the Third Way Center, where she led an interdisciplinary team supporting adolescents with complex trauma. Her work focused on helping clients clarify their goals, identify roadblocks, and create achievable paths toward personal and relational success.
Lauren is trained in play therapy, trauma-informed care, trauma resolution, de-escalation techniques, medication administration, CPR, QMAP, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. A former high-level performer, she now channels that experience into coaching others toward balance, discipline, and wellness.
A third-generation Colorado native, Lauren is an active boy mom and fitness enthusiast. She is deeply committed to mental health advocacy and passionate about helping clients create lives of authenticity, connection, and purpose.
