Meet Austin Hamilton
Austin Hamilton is the Director of Clinical and Community Relations in New York and an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with a background in relational, trauma-informed, and developmentally attuned care. Serving remotely from New York, Austin works closely with healthcare professionals, treatment providers, and community partners to strengthen collaborative pathways to care and increase awareness of APN’s comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment services.
With clinical experience spanning children, adolescents, individuals, and families, Austin brings a thoughtful, systems-oriented perspective to both therapy and professional outreach. Her work is grounded in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed practices that support emotional regulation, relational health, and long-term resilience.
Background and Education
In addition to her private clinical practice, Austin leads clinical and community partnership development for APN across the New York region. In this role, she builds and maintains strategic relationships with hospitals, treatment centers, outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, sober living providers, therapists, psychiatrists, healthcare professionals, and corporate partners.
Austin’s outreach work centers on consultative collaboration, helping individuals, families, and professionals navigate appropriate levels of care while ensuring they feel informed, supported, and aligned in the referral process. She communicates APN’s continuum of care model, specialized programming, and treatment philosophy in a clear, ethical, and clinically informed manner, ensuring partnerships reflect APN’s values, integrity, and commitment to excellence.
Austin’s work is guided by a deep belief in relational healing and the importance of community in the recovery process.
