Meet Dr. Manish Nair
Dr. Manish Nair is the Medical Director for APN Dallas-Fort Worth and a board-certified psychiatrist with more than 13 years of experience serving diverse patient populations. His clinical background spans collegiate, adolescent, Veteran, and geriatric psychiatry, allowing him to bring a well-rounded, compassionate perspective to both leadership and patient care.
Dr. Nair is deeply committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric treatment while supporting clinical excellence throughout all levels of care at APN Dallas-Fort Worth.
Background and Education
Originally from the Dallas area, Dr. Nair returned to the region with a strong desire to serve the community that helped shape him. His work reflects a deep sense of purpose, clinical rigor, and dedication to improving access to high-quality psychiatric care for individuals and families throughout North Texas.
Dr. Nair completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Kentucky, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. His leadership experience includes serving as Director of Consult Psychiatry at Albert Chandler Medical Center, Medical Director for Recovery Works, and Medical Director for acute crisis inpatient facilities, as well as multiple outpatient treatment programs. These roles have shaped his expertise in complex psychiatric care, crisis stabilization, and integrated treatment models.
Dr. Nair is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the TCU-UNT School of Medicine, where he contributes to the education and mentorship of future physicians. In addition to his academic role, he operates a private outpatient psychiatric clinic in Frisco, Texas.
