Jonathan Rotella:
My name is Jonathan Rotella, I’m chairman and CEO of NexGen Hyperbaric in the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine. I’m proud to be a partner of All Points North here in Cordillera, Colorado, and putting our first hyperbaric chamber in what we believe to be the highest altitude in the United States. I’d like to introduce Dr. Bindesh Patel, one of our board-certified hyperbaric physicians and also our corporate medical director at NextGen Hyperbaric, and Dr. Michael Schwartz, our medical director here at All Points North Lodge for the hyperbaric program.
Dr. Michael Schwartz:
We’ve been working to develop a hyperbaric oxygen program here for both on-label and off-label use. There are some exciting suggestions that hyperbaric oxygen may be beneficial for patients with severe chronic depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
Dr. Bindesh Patel:
I’m going to be working side by side with Dr. Schwartz to ensure that we hold a high standard, making sure that we continue the safety protocols that we set in place as far as the treatment regimen and looking into exciting responses, certainly for some of the off label indications that we’ve been wanting to look into for quite some time and hoping to further the knowledge in the medical world and perhaps contributing to research articles in the future.
Dr. Michael Schwartz:
A great percentage of our patients have had traumatic events in their lives, and we want to give them every opportunity to succeed. And that’s our goal.
