Creating a New Normal: 3 Mindset Shifts That Turn Setbacks into Comebacks

APN is proud to present our Virtual Speaker Series – an initiative to equip our clients and community with a wide variety of resources in mental health, addiction, and trauma recovery. In this installation of the Speaker Series, Darryll Stinson discusses his personal recovery journey and the lessons he has learned to overcome clinical depression, addiction, and rejection to produce success, self-love, and happiness.

About Darryll

Darryll Stinson is a two-time TEDx speaker, bestselling author, organization founder, husband, and father with a passion for life, mindfulness training, and lifting the veil off the recovery and healing process.

Ten years ago, Darryll hit rock bottom. After suffering a sports-career-ending injury that took a career in professional football off the table, Darryll faced struggle after struggle. Relational betrayal, drug addiction, and major depression led Darryll to a place where suicide became a consideration. At his lowest, he didn’t see hope.

What took him from struggling to thriving? In this relaunch of the APN Lodge Virtual Speaker Series, Darryll brings his story to the table to inspire you for yours. He dives into the reality and depth of his struggle and the watershed moments that brought him freedom. Darryll shares mental health tips, practical steps for healing, and challenges to do hard work that brings wellness, meaning, and hope.
