Meet Dr. Michel Sucher
Dr. Sucher brings a wealth of professional experience to the Professionals program at APN. After completing his undergraduate and medical degrees, Dr. Sucher served in emergency medicine, where he first observed the impact of drug-related issues. This experience inspired him to pursue a behavioral health specialty so he could better support individuals by addressing the root causes of addiction.
Dr. Sucher is highly respected within the treatment field and is a nationally known speaker on addiction medicine and professional health issues. He has served in various leadership, teaching, and executive roles and has been a consultant and member of multiple healthcare regulatory agencies and boards over the last five decades. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and an ASAM-certified Medical Review Officer. Dr. Sucher was granted Diplomate Status by the American Board of Addiction Medicine in 2009 and previously served as the Arizona Society of Addiction Medicine President.
Dr. Sucher provides valuable insight and clinical guidance within the Professionals program at APN. He connects with clients by transparently acknowledging the impact of addiction and the demands of working as an accomplished professional.
