She\u00a0is grateful for the ability to share healing with a diverse group of people and offer care in a variety of milieus.<\/p>\n<p>Susan&#8217;s dedication is reflected in her work within any clinical setting; she is committed to providing whole-person care through and through.<\/p>\n<h3>Background and Education<\/h3>\n<p>Susan attended West Carolina University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education\/Therapeutic Recreation. Thereafter, she earned her master\u2019s degree in Clinical Counseling and Substance Abuse. Currently, she is licensed as a Professional Counselor, Recreation Therapist, and Mental Health Provider.<\/p>\n<p>Susan has over a decade of extensive experience in assessment and planning. She specializes in evaluating the skills and strengths of organizations, facilities, and individuals while implementing solutions that meet everyone&#8217;s needs. Susan is a multi-award recipient from civic and municipal organizations for her work with communities of dually diagnosed populations.<\/p>\n<p>In her free time, she loves spending time with her son, rescuing animals, reading and swimming. Thus far, she has rescued two horses, a poodle and two cats!
